Registration Guide – Open Category Teams

Eligibility requirements

This category is open to anyone living in New Zealand at the time of the contest who has had no part in preparing any of the problem set.

Registration

To register, a team requires a team manager who will undertake to pay the entry fee for the team (typically $120, but the amount is set per site – confirm with your site coordinator). Note that there is no fee if the contest is on-line. The team manager may be one of the contestants.

Team and contestant registration will be carried out on the contest day before the practice session.

Teams

A team may contain up to 3 contestants. If space is limited at a site, teams with 3 contestants will be given priority over smaller teams.

Team managers may reserve space for their teams – usually through TeamUp – as described on the Registration page; check with your site coordinator.
